An exclusive invite-only supper club in Austin with excellent chefs and interesting guests
why we do it
A few of us came to the realization that it's hard to make friends with interesting like-minded people nowadays. Whether you're working from home or new to Austin, there's no reliable way to meet new people.
That's when we started hosting frequent dinners with friends... Then friends of friends... And along the way we noticed that noteworthy chefs around town enjoy sharing their love for food with us.
We've discovered something special, and we're hoping to share that with you :)
how it works
Dinner invitations go out to hand selected guests about 1 week before. Once you RSVP, you can expect information about the chef and the menu about 1-2 days before the dinner.
Each dinner runs about 3 hours with 4 phases:
- Arrival: Everyone arrives and gets greeted with their beverage of choice
- Mingle: Connect with other guests and enjoy drinks and light bites
- Dinner: 5-course meal prepared by a rotating cast of some of the best chefs in Austin complete with an optional wine-pairing
- More mingle (optional): Feel free to hang out a little longer for a post-meal coffee and make more friends
how to join
Maestranza relies on good food and good people. This means we'll have to hold a high bar and learn to say no. As a result, about half our guests come from referrals and half come from a screening process that begins with the form below.
